Keeping your classic vehicle on the road

From basic maintenance to resurrecting a barn find, Stoatworks has you covered with nearly a decade of experience handling vintage machines

Specialized Services

Doing the work modern shops won’t

Tire Change & Balance

We specialize in sourcing quality rubber in unorthodox sizes. Ask us about modernizing your tires, often small tire size changes from stock let you leave outdated tire types in the past

Carburetor Rebuild & Tuning

It’s not just a rebuild kit! We ultrasonically clean, inspect, rebuild, synchronize, adjust and tune your carburetor(s) until they run like new

Wiring & Custom Builds

Ditch your decaying electrical system in favor of modern electronics. Convert your carb to EFI. Keep the original look, or go all out with modern switchgear. The choice is yours!

Refinishing

Soda blasting, parts washing, polishing, non-corrosive rust removal, rubber restoration, paint correction, etc. Put your vehicle under the buffing wheel to have it looking fresh off the factory floor

Engine Build / Rebuild

Even if parts and expertise seem impossible to find, we’ll get your motor resealed, refreshed, or built to perform

And More!

Need work not listed here? Just ask! We’ll tackle everything from general maintenance to special requests

About

My name’s Jacob Unwin, and I founded Stoatworks LLC in 2024 first and foremost because I love old stuff. Specifically old cars & bikes. My first motorcycle was a 1972 Bridgestone 200 that I pulled out of a barn at age 16, and it was all downhill from there. Since then I’ve had almost a decade of experience working on everything from Airheads to GSXR’s, small blocks to LS’s. From racks of carbs with slides the size of thimbles to early fuel injection and beyond to tuning modern EFI. My extensive mechanical engineering and technician background have given me the tools (literally and figuratively) to properly care for pretty much any vehicle.
